LOS ANGELES – Following today’s brush and structure fire in Eagle Rock, Councilmember Ysabel Jurado issued the following statement:
“Today’s fire in Eagle Rock was frightening for the entire neighborhood, and our hearts are with the residents whose home was destroyed and with everyone affected by this incident. We are deeply grateful that no injuries have been reported.
We thank the Los Angeles Fire Department and all responding personnel for acting quickly to contain the fire, prevent it from spreading further, and protect surrounding homes.
Our office is closely monitoring the situation and will continue working with City departments to share verified updates and connect affected residents with available assistance. As firefighters complete their work and investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire, we urge neighbors to continue following all instructions from emergency personnel.”
